Exterminator charged with theft from homes during service calls

SPENCER COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – A man hired to remove unwanted pests from homes is accused of taking other items with him.
The Spencer County Sheriff's office, Jeffrey Todd Sizemore worked for is Orkin Pest Control based in Harrodsburg.
According to the sheriff's office, Sizemore would steal items such as jewelry and pain medication from homes where he was hired to perform jobs.
Investigators said one of the victim's home security cameras caught Sizemore in the act.
He was taken into custody and charged with theft.
The sheriff believes the suspect stole from several homes in Spencer and surrounding counties. If you think you are a victim of theft, you are asked to call the Spencer County Sheriff at (502) 477-3200.
