LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man has been jailed after he attacked another man with a hammer.
According to an arrest report, Ron B. Liebermann flagged down a Louisville Metro police officer just before midnight near Witherspoon and Shelby streets. Liebermann, 50, told the officer he hit his friend with a hammer because his friend was trying to kill him.
Liebermann was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections early Wednesday on one count of assault. The report states police found the weapon in Liebermann's backpack.
