Man charged with murdering 2 sisters back in court

OLDHAM COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - A man charged with murdering two sisters in Oldham County was back in court on Thursday.

Ronnie Evridge and his attorney's discussed setting a trial date for the murders of Sandy Allen, 24, and Heather Faulkerson, 21.

According to investigates, on December 18, 2011 Evridge was involved in the shooting deaths of Allen and Fulkerson who died from gunshot wounds at his home in the 5400 block of 18 Mile Creek Road, located outside of Westport.

Evridge, who was Allen's boyfriend at the time, claimed self-defense in the shooting.

A date for the trial has not been set.
