Hollywood descended upon Waikiki Wednesday. A scene for the upcoming movie Godzilla 2014 was shot at the Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon.
The scene is the aftermath of an attack from the iconic lizard. Destroyed buildings, a crashed helicopter and a wrecked boat served as backdrop props.
Between 225 and 250 extras walked around aimlessly, as if collectively dazed from the attack.
The crew working on the movie was just as impressive in scope. Over 200 people were taking part in making sure the filming went smoothly.
Amazingly, the entire set will be struck and gone by Friday.
Godzilla is set for release in May of 2014.
