Cooling centers available across Connecticut

Cooling centers are available all around the state as temperatures continue to remain well into the 90's.

In addition, a heat advisory has been issued for the entire state, as the humidity factored in with the heat could make it feel in excess of 100 degrees.

Officials are reminding people to take precaution during the hot weather and to avoid excessive activity outdoors. Anyone who does become overcome by the heat should move to a cool and shaded location immediately.

You should also wear lightweight, loose clothing and drink plenty of water.
