Trinity Senior Reggie Bonnafon is a 6'2 190 pound quarterback who runs a 4.4 40 yard dash.
"To finally be at this position you know growing up I always wanted to play at Trinity, so for it to be happening now is kind of surreal," said Bonnafon.
After playing back up to Travis Wright the past two seasons, it's now time for Reggie to lead the Rocks this fall.
Trinity Head Coach Bob Beatty commented, "He was going up against a two year starter in Travis Wright and he was on track to having a great year last year so there never was a decision."
"You know Travis was such a great leader on our squad and I learned some of the leadership qualities that he had and I'm trying to put it in this team now," exclaimed Bonnafon.
Even though Reggie only threw four passes last season, Scout.com ranked him as the number 18th ranked quarterback in the nation who's also committed to play for the Cards next year.
Bonnafon said, "I think I'm a balanced quarterback, I have enough arm strength to put the ball wherever I like to and if I have to run I can use my legs as well as a weapon."
"It doesn't matter what receiver's open he can throw it 5 yards, he can throw it 30 yards, he can throw it 70 yards. They're all the same velocity, they're all the same point, his arm really is incredible," commented senior wide receiver Drew Chandler.
