Police on the scene of the shooting at 44st Street and Del Park Terrace.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two shootings
were reported three blocks away from each other in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood Tuesday night, according to
Louisville Metro police confirmed
around 8:10 p.m. MetroSafe received calls of a reported shooting at 44th
Street at Del Park Terrace. When officers arrived on the scene they found a man
had been shot in the leg.
The victim was transported by EMS to
University of Louisville Hospital.
Shortly after, police said there was
another report of a shooting at 41st and Market Streets. When
officers arrived on the scene they discovered a man had been shot in the arm
and had taken himself to University of Louisville Hospital.
Police are attempting to speak with
witnesses to determine if the shootings are related.
Both of the men's injuries are
considered non-life threatening.
