FBI searching for Loan Ranger

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man known as the Loan Ranger is wanted by the FBI for a string of bank robberies, including a possible robbery in Louisville.

According to FBI Louisville, on May 10, a suspect entered the U.S. Bank located at 4951 Brownsboro Road at walked up to the first teller holding a semi automatic handgun. Once he received money he then went to the second teller and demanded more money.

Louisville Metro Police Sgt. Eric Black said there are similarities between the surveillance photos taken on May 10 and surveillance photos of the Loan Ranger.

The suspect is described as being 5'11' tall and weighing 180 pounds with a medium build.

The FBI said in addition to the possible connected robbery in Kentucky the man has pulled off bank robberies in Arkansas Mississippi and Texas dating back to 2009.
