Couple found passed out with toddler in car

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man and woman from Bullitt County are facing drug and child-endangerment charges after they were found unconscious in a car.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Sabrina Bindner, 23, and Loyd Myer, 33, were found July 13 on Duncan Street in the Portland neighborhood with a 2-year-old child in the backseat. The arrest report says it was 84 degrees outside and officers say it was "extremely hot inside the car."

Before taking them to jail, Bindner and Myer were taken to University Hospital to be treated for possible heroin overdoses.

Binder and Myer are charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a minor and first-degree wanton endangerment.
