LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman is behind bars after attempting to run over two people and then urinating on a police officer.
According to police, Barbara Jones, 52, went to a house on S. 40th street in Louisville near the Park Duvalle neighborhood at 8:30 p.m. on July 30. The man who lives there, Ben Robinson, and a woman, Ovella Forbes, came outside after Jones honked her horn while in her car.
Jones got out of her car and confronted the two, starting a fight with them both. When she got back in her car to leave, she attempted to run Robinson and Forbes over with her car. They got out of the way but Jones allegedly hit the man's car twice before leaving the scene.
An officer made contact with Jones several minutes later. Police said she was unable to provide her driver's license or valid insurance. She began to struggle during the process of being placed under arrest.
According to LMPD, she urinated on the arresting officer as she resisted, saying, "That's what you get."
Jones is charged with resisting arrest, first degree wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to maintain required insurance.
