LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Numerous sources are reporting that Michael Dyer is ready play football again; this time at the University of Louisville.
The former Auburn running back, who hasn't played football since the 2011 season, has accepted a scholarship offer and plans to enroll at UofL next week.
"I am ready to start a new chapter in my life," Dyer said in a statement released through Arkansas Baptist College, where he earned his associate degree this year.
Louisville officials are prohibited from commenting on Dyer until he enrolls. Dyer brings some baggage with him after leaving Auburn and also Arkansas State because of incidents involving guns and drugs.
