Repairs on a major Mesa thoroughfare damaged by a water main break nearly a week ago are expected to be completed Wednesday afternoon.
Mesa Transportation Department workers were scheduled to open all lanes of traffic on Broadway Road just west of the Dobson Road, said Kimberly Nelson, a city spokeswoman.
A major water main ruptured Thursday night and forced extensive lane restrictions.
Alternate routes included University Drive or Southern Avenue, and U.S. Highway 60 to Alma School Road. Bus and light rail stops were utilized at Apache Boulevard.
