JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – A large quantity of marijuana have been taken off the streets after deputies in southern Indiana make a major bust.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office got a tip about a large quantity of marijuana was being trafficked from Chicago to southern Indiana.
The department began around the clock surveillance on the suspects which culminated in a traffic stop Friday night on Interstate 65 in Clark County. During the stop, deputies found more than 25 pounds of pot.
Three people - April Hunter, Juan Urieta and Joel Rodriguez - are behind bars in the Clark County Jail facing felony trafficking charges.
