MADISON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

An SUV slams into a child's playhouse Monday morning.

Just before 10 a.m., witnesses say a brown Ford Explorer was traveling west on Blaine Street when it crossed Foraker Street, striking and demolishing a split rail fence. Witnesses say the SUV continued across back yards, striking two pine trees.

Witnesses told deputies that the vehicle continued through a small barn that was being used as a child's playhouse, hit a house on Childs Street and then came to a stop when it slammed into a parked Lincoln.

The Lincoln was pushed approximately 30 feet down the driveway into the middle of Childs Street where both vehicles came to rest.

The driver of the vehicle was identified on scene by witnesses as Josh Patterson. He was taken by ambulance to the Greenfield Area Medical Center for evaluation. EMS personnel on scene described his injuries as minor.

The Highland County Sheriff's office is conducting the investigation.

More information will be released as the investigation continues.

School was in session at the time of the crash. No one besides Patterson was injured.
