LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Firefighters were working Tuesday morning to knock out a fire on a train car.

Smoke was spotted coming from a locomotive stopped on the tracks around 9 a.m., near Market and 34th streets. Smoke could still be seen from the area as Air 3 flew above it 30 minutes later.

It's thought that the insulation caught fire inside the car. As of Tuesday morning there were no alerts nor no known health effects, according to Capt. Sal Melendez of Louisville Fire & Rescue.

There have been no reports of injuries.
