Head coach Mick Cronin released the 2013-14 University of Cincinnati men's basketball schedule on Wednesday.
The 31-game regular-season slate includes 18 contests in the inaugural season of the American Athletic Conference, including home-and-away dates against all nine opponents.
While television assignments have not been determined for some nonconference games, UC will appear on national television at least 23 times, including every conference game.
"This schedule will help our team develop throughout the course of the season and prepare us for postseason play," Cronin said. "There is a good mix of styles and tempos in the nonconference schedule and playing in the American brings the defending national champions and several highly ranked teams to our arena during the year."
After exhibition games against Carleton University (Oct. 26) and Bellarmine (Nov. 2), UC plays 10 of its 13 regular-season nonconference games at home inside Fifth Third Arena.
Bearcat fans interested in securing their seats for 21 home games can now place a deposit. By doing so, fans also receive the first opportunity to purchase tickets to the 2013 Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic against Xavier at U.S. Bank Arena.
