There's a whole treasure trove of festivals and greatness going on around the Tri-State.
The Germania Society of Cincinnati is serving up an absurd amount of schnitzel, sauerkraut, bratwursts, strudel, beer and more at the 43rd annual Oktoberfest celebration at Germania Park. Plus, our own Katy Morgan is the 2013 Bügermeisterin and will tap the keg!
Let the tunes, treats and good times roll at Taste of Blue Ash. From Busken Bakery and Graeter's to Taste of Belgium, City Barbeque and The Melting Pot - This event has your taste buds covered. In addition, some big names hit the stage at night: The Pointer Sisters on Friday, Kenny Loggins on Saturday and Rodney Atkins on Sunday.
On Friday evening and Saturday day, check out the Price Hill Cultural Heritage Fest. Price Hill is made up of three neighborhoods: East, West and Lower Price Hill. Celebrate where the neighborhood's been, where it is today and where it's going through outdoor music, food and art.
Cincy Brew Ha-Ha is in it's 7th year. Attendees can enjoy 100 kinds of craft beer and tons of comedians bringing even more LOLs. It's Friday and Saturday evening until midnight at Sawyer Point. Bring cash. A $5 beer wristband is required to consume the brews, and $1 beer tickets get a sample size. And... "Cincy Brew Ha-Ha" is fun to say.
Some jazz jams began Thursday in Over-the-Rhine. We're talkin' about the Crown Jewels of Jazz Heritage Festival. Organized by Learning Through Art, the four-day jazz event takes place at Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine and on St. Gregory Street in Mt. Adams in Seasongood Pavilion.
