KSP: 3 arrested at Gallatin Co. meth lab

SPARTA, KY (FOX19) -

Three men were arrested Monday after troopers found a meth lab while attempting to serve an arrest warrant in Gallatin County.

Authorities went to a home in the 3200 block of Highway 465 to arrest Jamison Clark, 34, of Sparta, KY, on an outstanding warrant for manufacturing methamphetamine.

According to Kentucky State Police (KSP), troopers found an inactive meth lab in the living room. As a result, a search warrant was obtained and a second inactive lab was found in a bag in the kitchen.

In addition to Clark, 47-year-old Jeffrey Lape and 26-year-old Jeffrey Branan, also from Sparta, were taken into custody.

All three have been charged with manufacturing meth, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They are currently being held at the Carroll County Detention Center.

Trooper Charles Loudermilk with KSP Post 5 is leading the ongoing investigation.
