LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A repeat offender now faces another felony charge after allegedly stealing a credit card from someone at Baptist Hospital East.

James Bryant, 52, is accused of entering an office at the hospital and stealing a wallet containing an ID and credit cards.

The victim discovered the card was missing and checked bank records which revealed it was used to make four purchases totaling under $500 after it was taken.

An arrest report indicated Bryant used it at two Speedway gas stations in Louisville to purchase gas and cigarettes. He was captured on video surveillance at both locations swiping the victim's card.

Bryant was arrested and charged with a felony count of unlawful access to a computer, meaning he allegedly used fraudulent pretenses to obtain money, property or services.
