LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) - Six cast members of the hit show Duck Dynasty are heading to Lexington to help raise money for a private school in Frankfort.

The Frankfort Christian Academy invited the Robertson family to take part in a fundraiser to help expand its facility. The school needs help getting money so they can get a new science lab, install heating and air conditioning in the gym, among other much needed updates to the school.

Principal Kim Burgess said, "We're just a small Christian school. We're a nonprofit we don't get funding from the government or anywhere else."

Cast members Willie, Korie, Miss Kay, Sadie, John Luke and Alan will share inspirational stories with a crowd at Rupp Arena on Sunday, September 29 at 3 p.m.

If you would like to hear their stories tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, just click here.
