LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Months after two separate bank robberies occurred in Louisville, police have now arrested suspects in both crimes.

In November 2012, a BB&T employee was exiting the bank at 2501 W. Broadway St. with a bag of money when police said someone claimed to be armed and demanded the money in the parking lot. According to an arrest report, the employee handed it over and the person fled the scene through an alley.

On Tuesday, Montei Deshawn Dunbar, 39, was arrested for the crime and now faces a felony charge of first degree robbery. Police said he was captured on surveillance video and also admitted to his involvement in the robbery.

In another case, a PNC bank on Dixie Highway in Valley Station was robbed earlier this year on July 15. Police reported a woman approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. It was handed over and she allegedly fled the scene in a maroon Dodge Intrepid.

Tuesday, police arrested Brittany Wilson, 28, a resident of Clarksville, Indiana, and charged her with one felony count of second degree robbery.

The amount of cash taken in each incident is not known.
