LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A former Audubon Park police officer has filed a sexual harassment and defamation lawsuit against his former department.
Kile Nave, who is openly gay, claimed his supervisor called him names and used gay slurs to demean him around other officers.
Nave join the Audubon Park department in 2009.
The lawsuit states Nave was fired in 2012 due to false allegations of insubordination and said he lost his job because he had filed a harassment complaint with superiors.
