Identity of stabbing victim released, suspect charged with murder

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The identity of a man who died after he was stabbed multiple times Thursday night has been released.

According to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Anne Rhodes, around 11 p.m. Humberto Bell was pronounced dead at University of Louisville Hospital as a result of the stabbing.

Bell was taken to the hospital after police found him in the 6600 block of Southside Drive around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Shortly after discovering Bell's body police arrested Junior Ricardo-Rodriguez, 30, and charged him with murder.

Funeral arrangements for Bell are pending.
