CLIFTON (FOX19) - Munchie LeGaux started for the Bearcats at quarterback and the Tommy Tuberville era started with a big win over a Big Ten opponent.
In front of a record crowd of 36,007, the Bearcats outscored Purdue 28-0 in the second half to cruise to a 42-7 win.
LeGaux played most of the first three quarters, but staying true to his word that both quarterbacks would play, Tuberville inserted Brendon Kay in the third quarter.
Both quarterbacks produced multiple touchdown scoring drives. Tuberville says the competition will continue before UC's next game at Illinois.
