LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A database of inmate information for the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections is set to go live online for the public's access.
Mark Bolton, the director of LMDC, and Wesley Stover, a LMDC data systems analyst, will preview the program to the public Tuesday afternoon after four years of preparation.
The new system is called ‘XJail' and it includes an inmate's charges, mug shot, bond information and upcoming court dates. LMDC said they receive hundreds of phone calls a day from family members of inmates, lawyers and media professionals wanting details about inmates.
