Subjects of Indiana AMBER Alert may be heading to Louisville

FISCHERS, IN (WAVE) – An AMBER Alert has been issued for a central Indiana girl who police believed has been abducted by her mother.

Sophia Snow, age 8, is thought with Jennifer Ansari, 37. The two may be headed toward the Louisville area where Ansari has relatives.

The Fishers, Indiana Police Department said a court had ordered Ansari to return Sophia to the custody of her father. Police said once Ansari learned she was losing custody to her ex-husband, police said she took the child and left.

Sophia is 3' 10" and weighs 50 pounds, has shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. Ansari is 5' 4", weights 130 pounds and also has shoulder length blonde hair and blue.

Ansari was last seen around Noon September 3 driving a 2012 burgundy 4-door Honda Civic with Kentucky license plate 779 NZJ.

Police are concerned for the safety of Sophia. If you see Sophia Snow, Jennifer Ansari or the car, you are asked to contact police.
