OLDHAM COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - Local authorities called off the search for a reported plane crash scene after determining the plane in question landed safely at Bowman Field Sunday morning. 

Multiple emergency responders, K9 dogs and police helicopters were dispatched to an area off Interstate 71 in Oldham County after a witness reported seeing a small plane go down around 11 a.m. near Exit 14. The Federal Aviation Administration notified local authorities about the call. After spending four hours searching for wreckage, the search was canceled when authorities confirmed the plane with two people on board had not crashed.
