Chef wins competition for charity

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville chef was named thewinner of a culinary competition.

Around 300 people filled 21 C and their stomachs during the Cochon555 Heritage BBQ competition Sunday. Duringthe competition, several chefs faced off against each other in achallenge to use one whole pig to win votes from a pork-loving audience.

Annie Pettry, the executive chef at Decca Restaurant, tookhome the top honor was awarded $1,500 to donate to the charity of her choice.

The charity Pettry will donate the money to has not beenreleased.
