LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Slugger Field is getting a facelift. For the second time since the ballparks opening the grass has been stripped down to dirt in preparation for a new playing field.
Grounds crews will lay down 100,000 square feet of sod in preparation for the new North Bridge Bermudagrass.
According to the Bats, the installation will take around three days.
