LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A 26-year-old woman faces a list of charges after she allegedly hit another car and then ran off with a child.

Ebony Dupree, of Louisville, was passing another car at a high speed on Aug. 24, according to what a witness told police, in a no-passing zone when she hit another vehicle in the side.

Afterward, according to an arrest warrant, Dupree pulled a child out of her boyfriend's car, jumped into another car and left.

The warrant claims Dupree then called Shively Police, whom she told she had a seizure after the collision.

The person in the other car suffered a minor injury, according to police. Damage to the car was estimated at more than $1,000.

The child was not visibly hurt.

Dupree is charged with failure of non-owner operator to maintain insurance, driving on a suspended license and first-degree wanton endangerment.
