Two arrested in Bowling Green murder of Louisville native

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WAVE) – Police in Bowling Green have charged two people with the September 3 shooting death of a Louisville man who was attending Western Kentucky University.

In a press release Bowling Green police said Dominique L. Wortham, 21, of Bowling Green, confessed that he shot Larry W. Thomas, 20, at an apartment during a robbery.

Thomas, a graduate of Ballard High School, was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville where he later died.

Police said further investigation led them to charge a second person in the death of Thomas. Adriana M. Mason, 19, of Paducah, was arrested in Paducah for her involvement in the shooting.

Wortham and Thomas are both charged with murder. Wortham is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail. Mason is in custody at the McCracken County Jail.
