LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested in a Fern Creek McDonald's drive-thru lane Saturday afternoon after arguing with other customers in line, according to Louisville Metro Police.

An officer reported witnessing Dwayne E. Blissett, 42, yelling at unknown persons in the vehicle directly in front of him in the McDonald's drive-thru line at 5630 Bardstown Road. The officer said the top was down on the convertible Blissett was driving.

According to his arrest report, Blissett's words were slurred and he smelled strongly of alcohol. The officer said Blissett admitted having several shots of alcohol before driving to McDonald's. His blood-alcohol level was .165, according to police.

The arrest report states Blissett refused to provide information about the owner of the convertible. The officer reported the vehicle identification number had been scratched off the windshield and door of the car.

Blissett is charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and obscuring the identity of a machine or other property.
