Trevor Carnell of Bullitt Central High School had a break out performance last Friday night leaving the home crowd stunned.
"One night performance, this was a magical night for our football program and for that young man," said Bullitt Central Head Coach Dan Leasor.
Trevor Carnell explained, "It wasn't something that I could really prepare for but it was definitely special."
On 20 carries he rushed for 463 yards and six touchdowns, a school record and currently ranks sixth in Kentucky state history.
"I play the video games and I try to do well and I don't think I've ever gotten that many yards," conveyed Carnell.
Carnell, who's only in his junior season, is carrying his undefeated Cougars with a chip on his shoulder.
Leasor commented, "This year they came out with the top 100 players in the state of Kentucky and Trevor wasn't on it. That really angered me; now you're going to tell me there's all these backs on there from all over the state that are better than my kid, I don't think so."
