ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - A 70-year-old Elizabethtown man has been identified as the victim of a deadly single-vehicle crash in Hardin County on Wednesday.
According to Kentucky State Police, Edgar D. Willis was driving south on Shepherdsville Road just north of Ring Road around 12:53 p.m. when his 2002 Honda Odyssey minivan left the road for unknown reasons. The minivan overturned, ejecting Willis from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Hardin County Coroner Dr. William Lee.
Police said Willis was not wearing a seat belt.
Shepherdsville Road was closed about 90 minutes while police investigated and the accident scene was cleared.
