The Lupus Foundation of America, Mid-South Chapter's (LFAM) annual fundraising and awareness event, Walk to End Lupus Now®, formerly known as Walk for Lupus Now, will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville. Registration is free and open to the public, with proceeds going to fund research, support and programs for the 1.5 million Americans and 24,000 Kentucky residents living with lupus. For all participants, Walk to End Lupus Now® provides a family-friendly setting to enjoy live entertainment, complimentary snacks from local restaurants and the beautiful scenery of E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.

As the official after-party to Idea Festival 2013, NuLu is hosting a street festival celebrating the revitalization of Louisville's East Market District. Come enjoy live music by Sonablast Records, micro-brewed beers by Louisville Beer Store, and numerous food and retail booths by local vendors. There will be activities for all ages. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public.
