This one is a tough one to forecast but models are getting closer to agreeing on a big snow event here.
As the cold air settles in over the FOX19 viewing area Thursday and Friday, it will ease eastward putting us right on the line between rain and snow.
Of course, as is so often the case that means a transitional zone of ice in between.
All this will occur beginning Thursday night and during the day on Friday and the first to get slick conditions will be the counties to the west of the metro area.
Friday morning snow will move into the FOX19 viewing area and come down all day. The slick weather will ease eastward and several inches of snow will fall during the day. The ground is colder now so some snow is more likely to stick and as temperatures hover just below freezing Friday there will likely be the expected chaos of a wintry day.
