LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A narcotics complaint with police led them to a fugitive.
Officers responded to the complaint to 2800 Taylor Blvd. in south Louisville near Churchill Downs. Upon arrival, the residents gave them verbal and written consent to search every room of the residence, according to an arrest report.
During their search, police said they found 14 needles, two of which had a substance suspected to be heroin in them, four ecstasy pills, a small amount of marijuana along with a grinder and spoons with residue which officers suspected to be heroin.
Officers reported the two people who lived there, Brandon Mann, 23 and Raven Hausberger, 24, told police the drugs belonged to them.
Both Mann and Hausberger were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance in the first degree for the suspected heroin and ecstasy along with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to another arrest report, during the search, officers discovered Mann had a warrant out for his arrest in Indiana. He failed to face drug charges there and is considered to be a fugitive. He may face extradition to Indiana.
