The Rossford Police Department says a police pursuit happened on southbound I-75 overnight after a man robbed a Tim Horton's café.
Rossford Police say they received reports of an armed robbery for an undisclosed amount of money at Tim Horton's café located on 1011 Buck Road at approximately 12:09 a.m. Wednesday.
The suspect, 25-year-old Jeremiah Zoltani, was later spotted by police entering Toledo on Miami Street in a 2012 Jeep that was reported stolen from Millbury moments before the robbery occurred. Police say they attempted to stop the vehicle, and that's when a police pursuit started.
The chase ended after Zoltani's vehicle hit a tree on private property near Grassy Creek Drive in Perrysburg Township.
Zoltani was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. Police say he is under arrest for armed robbery, failure to comply and receiving stolen property.
