Social service worker bitten, choked at assisted living facility

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A social service worker was abused by someone who had a meeting with her at Bingham Gardens, a home for adults with mental disabilities in Louisville, according to police.

An arrest report indicates on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., Brandon Coward, 24, started yelling at the worker before grabbing her hair and throwing her to the floor.

Police said Coward then put the victim in a choke hold and held it to the point she was about to pass out. They said after that he started to bite her arms and back.

The victim is a worker at the Bingham Center.

Coward was charged with first degree wanton endangerment and third degree assault of a social service worker.
