LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man with a gun was loitering in a church parking lot, according to police.

A police report filed by Louisville Metro police stated on Tuesday afternoon, Timothy Steinhauer was loitering around a trailer parked in a lot on St. Andrews Church Road with an unidentified female.

When officers approached Steinhauer he began to run. The officers tackled Steinhauer and noticed something metal in his pocket. After refusing to comply with the arrest, officers used a stun gun on him.

The officers recovered a .25 caliber handgun from Steinhauer's pants pocket. He was taken into custody and charged with loitering, fleeing police, resisting arrest and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
