4 arrested on drug charges at public park

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A trouble call at a Louisville Metro park ended with the arrests of four people for having drugs there.

According to arrest reports, officers were called to Bingham Park at 160 Coral Avenue around 6 p.m. September 25. Once there, police saw four people exiting a restroom at the park.

Inside the restroom, police found a syringe on the wall of the stall, a plastic bag with residue that appeared to be heroin and a spoon in the toilet.

Outside the restroom near the four people, police found two syringes, one of which was full of a substance they believe to be heroin.

Louisville Metro Police charged the four suspects - David Ashby, age 20; Mary Jo Mann, age 42; Jeffery Stine, age 22; and Michael Osborne, age 21 – with possession of a controlled substance. Osborne was also charged with possession of marijuana which police found in his shoe.
