LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A fight aboard a JCPS bus brought out emergency crews after a fire extinguisher was sprayed.

The bus was at 32nd Street and Greenwood Avenue when a fight started between two students. During the fight, someone grabbed and sprayed the fire extinguisher onto the other students.

Ben Jackey, a JCPS spokesperson, said bus 0721 was transporting students from Waller-Williams Environmental School. According to the JCPS website, Waller-Williams is a special school for students with severe and profound emotional and, or behavioral disabilities.

Jackey said the students were checked and none were injured. A second bus was brought to the scene to take the students home.
