Former bank manager charged with theft

SELLERSBURG, IN (WAVE) – After a seven month long investigation, Indiana State Police have arrested the former manager of a credit union on charges she stole more than $63,000. 

According to ISP, Renea D. White, 24, of Scottsburg, was manager at Centra Credit Union in Scottsburg. While employed there between January 2, 2012 and January 18, 2013, state police say White ran multiple schemes to get money. ISP said those schemes ran from taking money from the teller drawer to manipulating customer accounts. 

White was arrested September 27 after surrendering to the Scott County Circuit Court. She is charged with five counts of defrauding a financial institution and five counts of theft. 

White is being held in at the Scott County Jail.
