Officer resigns after arrest for terroristic threatening, alcohol intoxication

RADCLIFF, KY (WAVE) – A police officer resigned hours after he was arrested by his own department.

The Radcliff Police Department in Hardin County, Kentucky arrested their own Officer Brian Clear early Monday morning.

He was booked into the Hardin County Jail and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening and alcohol intoxication.

Radcliff Police Chief Jeffrey Cross said Officer Clear was arraigned Monday morning. The police chief said he met with Officer Clear Monday afternoon and he resigned from the police force at that time.

Clear was with the Radcliff Police Department less than one year.
