BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Someone tried to set several cabins on fire at the Old Bardstown Village.

Now, a suspect has been arrested.

After several attempted arsons of 200-year-old cabins at the historic site over the summer in Nelson County, police said they gathered enough clues to charge Phillip Tingle with eight counts of second-degree arson.

That also includes one charge for a February fire at a home on W. Forrest Ave in Bardstown.
