LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police arrested one of three men involved in an armed home invasion during which the resident was assaulted.
According to an arrest report, Ricky D. Tinsley, 22, of Louisville, was one of the men who went to an apartment in the 2100 block of Buechel Bank Road around 11:30 p.m. on September 29.
The report states Tinsley and the two other men were armed when they knocked on the door of an apartment. When the door was answered, the men forced their way inside and pistol-whipped the man who lived there. Police said the men took the victim's TV and prescription medications before stealing the man's car an fleeing the scene.
A short time later, an officer spotted the vehicle and tried to pull it over. All three men fled on foot. Tinsley was caught after a short chase.
Tinsley was booked on charges of robbery, fleeing or evading police and tampering with physical evidence.
