LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A night out at a gentleman's club went down the pipes when the management told police an out-of-state man attacked the plumbing.
According to a police report, the staff at P.T.'s Showclub at 227 East Market Street couldn't get a customer to leave after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, so they flagged down a Louisville Metro Police officer.
The report states that Merritt Kurt, 33, of Aurora, Colorado was heavily intoxicated, alarming other customers, and that he told police he wasn't leaving the club without a refund.
The manager told police that Kurt, who is listed on the police report as being 6'4" tall and weighing 230 pounds, had gone into a restroom at the club and ripped a toilet off the floor, causing the restroom to flood. The toilet was broken in several pieces, police said. The manager stated that the cost of repairs is estimated at $700.
Kurt is charged with alcohol intoxication in public, disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and criminal mischief.
