LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman was arrested for prostitution after a man called police saying she wouldn't leave his house.

Police responded to the man's call on Monday night at 11 p.m. at 2732 S. 5th St. in south Louisville in the vicinity of the University of Louisville and Churchill Downs. They said they found the woman outside the home behaving erratically, using profanity and aggressive gestures.

Officers questioned the man inside the house who said the woman came over to exchange sexual favors for $20 and crack cocaine.

When police asked the woman, Tiffany Embry, 34, she admitted to smoking marijuana, using crack and drinking alcohol. Officers noted she smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and was uneasy on her feet.

According to her arrest report, she also admitted to engaging in prostitution. When Embry was being arrested, police said she tried to spit on an officer.

Police charged her with prostitution, public intoxication and menacing.

It is unclear if the man who called police was arrested for any illegal behavior.
