LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - New evidence is being released in the case of a Louisville woman is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill her ex-husband and his wife. WAVE 3 News has obtained video evidence of the whole deal going down.

Elizabeth Stakelbeck was arrested on August 20 after a seven day undercover operation. WAVE 3 News has learned that

Stakelbeck, who WAVE 3 News has learned is the daughter of the owner of Z Salon and Spa, told the undercover agent she was turning to him to resolve custody issues regarding her daughter. The undercover agent tells Stakelbeck he can make her ex-husband and his wife's death look like a murder-suicide so no one would suspect her.

"The way this normally works is I normally charge quite a bit of money for something like this," said the undercover agent.  "If you want something fancy like this, that's like a $1000."

"Right," said Stakelbeck.

"Per person," said the agent.

"Right," said Stakelbeck.

"That's $2,000," said the agent.

"Right," said Stakelbeck.

"You can afford that, right?" said Stakelbeck.

"Yeah," said Stakelbeck.

Court documents also reveal that Stakelbeck agreed to exchange money, drugs, and sex for having the hit man carry out the killings.

"I just want to make sure my little girl doesn't get hurt," said Stakelbeck.

"You need to let me know when she is not going to be there," said the agent.  "I need to know. I need to know both those people. Picture of both of them. I need to know where they work, I need to know where they live, and I need to know your little girl is not going to be there."

A few days later, Stakelbeck was recorded on the phone talking about the hit referring to the targets as "trees."

The hit was never done. Stakelbeck is charged with two counts of solicitation to murder. She is expected in court Thursday.
