BULLITT COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – Two people are facing charges after a 19-month-old child suffered a skull fracture.

Louis Hardin, 24, and Tina Martinez, 28, were taken into custody Wednesday after a child, which was in their care, was taken to Jewish Hospital in Brooks, Kentucky and then taken to Kosair Children's Hospital with a skull fracture.

Hardin and Martinez were both arraigned Thursday morning. Hardin, who was charged with criminal abuse, plead not guilty.

Martinez plead not guilty to charges of criminal abuse and wanton endangerment.

Both are being held in the Bullitt County Detention Center on $75,000 full cash bond and scheduled to be back in court on October 14.

The condition of the child has not been released.
